Is this a contact sport/art?
The quick answer is yes-but we have many different levels of contact ranging from 'light contact, light-semi contact, throwing and grappling contact, semi-contact & full contact. Obviously the level of contact for you will depend upon your current experience and desires.

Will I get fitter?
Yes you will. Our training program has a high level of fitness training pre-built into the art. You personal fitness level will be assessed for you when you enrol.

I am aged over 40, will i get any benefit out of your classes or am I too old.
In our book's your never too old, and that's not sales pitch. We have something to offer everyone in our school, young or old. You will train at a level suitable for your current fitness stage, we do not expect miracles and we are not miracle workers you will be required to put great effort into your training for the best results.

I've tried other schools in the past and did'nt enjoy them but I do like martial arts.

Yes we do...please ask the Instructor in class.

My child has some learning disabilities, can he/she still participate?
We strive to open our doors to all students, but i'm sure you will understand that there are many disabilities that we may not know about or understand and therefore you would be best to speak to our Chief Instructor for more details about how best we can help your child during his training.

What Does Chi'ang Shou Fa mean?
Chi'ang Shou Fa is the name of our style of Kung Fu. The name can be translated into english in a variety of ways, providing over 3 translations.
Each Syllable has the following meanings:
Chi'ang Strong OR Superior OR Violent
Shou Hand OR Hands
Fa Way OR Method OR Law
